Great success in the French internet team competition

The French pupils of the Montessori class 7-9 at the Johannes-Brenz-Gemeinschaftsschule Schwäbisch Hall celebrated a remarkable success in this year’s French internet team competition. Out of 202 participating schools, the class reached 4th place in level A1/A2.

The competition, held across Germany, takes place every year around the Franco-German Day in January. It invites pupils to work in teams on various tasks relating to the French language, culture and everyday life. To do so, they research online, read French texts, listen to short audio recordings and solve challenging tasks together.

Taking part especially trained reading comprehension, listening skills, vocabulary, as well as teamwork and media skills. The pupils worked together with great concentration, shared tasks sensibly and supported one another.

The 4th place is not only a fantastic result, but also a lovely confirmation of the class’s commitment. The joy was correspondingly great. The pupils are very proud of their achievement and look forward motivated to further challenges in French lessons.
