Your way to the Abitur
Everyone learns together with us from year 5. Every qualification is possible without changing schools.
- Year 5–8 Learning together Everyone learns together, each at their own level. Learning coaching and a learning diary support the way.
- Year 9 Lower Secondary School Leaving Certificate The first qualification is possible after Year 9.
- Year 10 Intermediate Secondary School Leaving Certificate The Mittlere Reife after Year 10 opens the way to vocational training and the upper school.
- Year 11 Introductory Phase The start of the upper secondary level (gymnasiale Oberstufe), with an iPad for everyone.
- Year 12–13 Abitur Central Abitur exams, as at every general grammar school (allgemeinbildendes Gymnasium) in Baden-Württemberg.

In this process, all those involved in school life support the pupils in their learning and promote them with the resources available to the school.
As they move through school, pupils should get to know and try out their potential and strengths. They should experience their self-efficacy and learn to aim for realistic goals in their school career. This happens through regular feedback on their level of competence and by showing them the next levels of competence. In doing so, we want to encourage and empower pupils to recognise their own potential and make the most of it.
Targeted support towards independent, increasingly self-organised learning is initiated and backed up by the necessary teaching formats. When planning, organising and developing lessons, the focus should be on fostering creativity, collaboration, communication skills and critical thinking in the acquisition of competences.
A value-based, open, diversity-friendly school, communication and feedback culture is aspired to and lived by everyone.
