On 20.06.2023 and 21.06.2023, the Federal Youth Games took place for grades 5-9. Despite the heat and occasional rain on the second day, they were a complete success. Traditionally, pupils from GMS and Sonnenhof were active together on Wednesday. After a joint warm-up with the hip-hop group, the pupils started their competition. The program included an 800m run, long jump, baton throw and sprint, with loud support from the Grade 10s, who were on hand to cheer on every participant. Anyone who still had some energy left in between or at the end could get rid of it in the hall at the games stations run by the students from the sports profile subject.
