On 20.02., the pupils of the music profile course visited the Tarzan musical at the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart. We set off from the Schulzentrum West at 3.30 pm and arrived at the SI Centrum at 5.15 pm. The pupils then spent about 30 minutes at the SI Centrum and had something to eat. Doors opened at 6.00 pm, and the musical began at 6.30 pm.
Tarzan is a mix of love story and adventure. In the first hour, the focus was mainly on the back story and Tarzan’s childhood. After that, there were 25 minutes of interval, followed by an hour of love story, in which Tarzan meets his great love. The show lasted two hours in total.
A pupil from class 8e commented afterwards: „What we liked best was how the performers flew through the air and showed acrobatic stunts, how well they sang and how colourful the stage set was.“
