The Digitale Drehtür is an online learning space for pupils, an educational platform already used by many schools in all federal states. Here children can discover their talents and develop their potential through a varied range of courses. The options range from live courses with video conferences and project groups to strengthening basic skills and personal development.
\n \nFor school life, the term “Drehtür” (revolving door) means that you “turn out” of regular lessons for a certain period of time and step into an alternative offer. Above all, children and young people with a high willingness to perform, who feel under-challenged in regular lessons and want more space to pursue their own interests and explore them in depth, find a protected space in the Digitale Drehtür.
\n \nHow much mathematics there is in art, how GPS works, which scientific errors were made in the film “Jurassic Park” or why fungi are connected to trees – all of this can be discovered here. Or you can meet in the Writing Club or the Prototype Workshop in a digital community.
\n \nTopics from everyday life are also covered: How can I apply for a scholarship? How does a tax return work? What do I need to consider when I rent my first own flat? The courses and activities are aimed at all year groups, from Year 3 to Year 13.
\n \nWorking on projects and having the chance to actively help shape your own learning process are forward-looking for all pupils. The platform is guided above all by the goals of “Education for Sustainable Development”, which is about shaping our globalised world actively, independently and responsibly.
\n \nThe Digitale Drehtür is a real asset to our school community!
