Landscape Conservation

Here in Wackershofen there are various areas in landscape conservation. First there is the garden, which is led by Frau Salomon. The vineyard group is led by Herr Herold-Haag, and last but not least the arable group, which is led by Herr Herold-Haag and Frau Salomon. In the garden, many different plants are grown, such as lettuce, strawberries, gooseberries, grapes, rhubarb, chard, courgettes, chives, cucumbers and many more plants.

In the vineyard, on the other hand, only grapes are grown. The arable field is used only for growing potatoes, fodder beet and onions. In addition, the pupils help the museum with tasks such as cutting willows and removing thorns.

The open-air museum appreciates the work of the Montessori class and is very grateful to them.
